Service Opportunities

Connect + Care + Community

Whether we are meeting together in person on Sundays or worshiping from home, we can still work together to serve others in need both locally and globally during this time. We’ve been searching for opportunities to serve in our communities and beyond and have been fortunate enough to partner with a few organizations that could use our help. If you are willing and able to help, we would love to connect you with this opportunity.

Help deliver food with Meals on Wheels: Start here first by filling out their volunteer application. You will be connected to a local site that needs your help!  One local site can be contacted directly at (815) 351-9285 or If you’d like to talk to someone about what it’s like to deliver for Meals on Wheels, feel free to reach out to Jacki Rutledge if you have questions about the application or what to expect.

Operation Christmas Child: Through October 11th, we will continue to accept donations for the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. See the list of needed items highlighted below. Monetary donations are also needed for shipping.  Shoe boxes share God’s love and the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Please email Pat Dabis or contact her at (708) 205-8768 with any questions.

Thank you for your willingness to serve! We are excited to see how God will work through you as you serve those around you.

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
