Lead a Group

Lead a Group

Are you being called to lead a group? There are many skills and gifts God has given to people to leverage them as a group leader. Are you good at making complicated things easy to understand? Is it natural for you to facilitate a discussion? Do you have a sense of understanding how the Bible relates to our everyday struggles? God wants to use these abilities to help encourage others in a group setting.

You may feel very unqualified! All of us do. You don’t have to be a professional speaker or know everything about the Bible. None of us do. Mark Twain said it this way, “It is not the things which I do not understand in the Bible which trouble me, but the things which I do understand.” The part you do understand, God wants you to share with others.

And there is a blessing to leading others. You will find that you learn more by leading Bible studies than by simply being a participant.
