Our Future

Our Future

Please watch the above video to learn more about the process the Elders are following to find a new home for Living Creek Christian Church, as well as the parameters for which facility we believe will work best for our congregation. Both are briefly shared below as well.

Currently, we are holding in-person Sunday worship services at our ministry center known as “The Well” on West Court Street in Monee, a few doors down from our administrative offices.

“The Well” has also been a great location for our student ministry, meetings, fellowship, small groups, training classes, and worship team rehearsals.

Our Vision and Mission: The leaders at Living Creek believe God has called us to reach at least 1% of the 300,000 people who live within 10 miles of where we worship in south/central Will County. Our mission is to “Help People Follow Jesus.”

The Process We Are Following:
Phase 1: Submit Suggestions (buildingsuggestion@livingcreek.org)
Phase 2: Elders Review Property
Phase 3: Facility Walk Throughs
Phase 4: Due Diligence Process
Phase 5: Confidence Vote by Congregation
Phase 6: Final Decision by Elders

The Parameters: When deciding if a facility will work for us, there are 3 that pillars we are prayerfully taking into consideration.

Pillar 1: Geography

  • South/Central Will County
  • Area Growing with Young Families
  • Opportunities for Outreach

Pillar 2: Property

  • 10-20 Acres
  • 12,000-Sq. Ft. or larger Facility with a Sanctuary Ceiling Height of 15 Ft.
  • 120+ Parking Spaces

Pillar 3: Cost

  • Target Price: $2 Million
  • This would include our current Greater Things building fund and borrowing the balance.

The question of timing will be determined by God’s will and provision. In the meantime, we are committed to praying and being faithful right now so that we are ready for the doors that God will open next.
