I’m New Here

I’m New Here

How should I dress?
Come as you are. We hope you will find a comfortable environment where you can be yourself. No matter if you are in jeans or business casual, you will find people dressed like you at Living Creek. Take a look around. There are married couples, singles, young people, older people, professionals, laborers, stay-at-home moms – each with a unique life story, just like you. Come and check things out on your terms.

What will be expected of me?
Feel free to be as anonymous as you want and visit as often as you like. We hope you will attend more than once so you can get a feel for Living Creek. As our guest, the only request we have is you please fill out a Communication Card found in our Worship Folder as soon as you are comfortable to do so. This will provide us with a record of your visit and add you to our mailing list. It will also provide you with a way to communicate with our staff if there are any needs in your life. Our staff prays for the requests on the cards each Monday morning. If you have a spiritual decision that you are making as a result of worship service, one of our pastors would be glad to speak with you.

What are the services like?
Our in-person and online services usually last around 45 minutes. The service begins with a contemporary worship service with a variety of instruments on stage including guitar, drums, bass and keys. Sing if you like. On most weekends the teaching is done by Pastor Randy Roberts or our Youth Pastor Josh Rutledge. Our goal is to provide Bible-based, relevant messages that apply to your everyday life. Sometimes we use a video in the service when it will help us connect with the message. In each weekend service, we offer a time of reflection during a communion service. If you are a believer in Christ, we invite you to share in that with us. We have two stations in the back of the room where we use a two-cup system (bread in the bottom cup, juice in the top cup). We welcome you to participate with us even if you are joining us online. If you do not want to participate, that is fine also.

What about my kids?
At our 11 AM in-person weekend service, children from birth – 5th grade are invited to join the fun at Creekside at The Wave (4854 Court St, next door to our worship center). Children are invited to sit with you at our 9:45 AM in-person weekend service.

Middle School Ministry – Youth are invited to sit with you for the weekend worship services. The Well – our large group meeting – meets on Sunday evenings during the school year. They’ll experience live music, games and teaching geared to the middle school mind. They learn a lot and have a lot of fun doing it. Fun summer events are scheduled as well.

High School Ministry  –  Youth are invited to sit with you for the weekend worship services. The Well – our large group meeting – meets on Sunday evenings during the school year. Students will experience music, worship, teaching that targets their world, and friends. Fun summer events are scheduled as well.
